The victim should NEVER have been seated near her perpetrator (without protection or an advocate to support 😢
This would never happen in an Australian court . If an offender breaches a PPO you can report it to the police and they will put it before the court registrar for a breach mention & appearance at first available date . However if the registrar (in the absence of the magistrate ) can make determination to detain them until that court date is set!

After wasting the courts time while being amazingly disrespectful, he should at have gotten his 75 days not including time already spent in jail. And hopefully he was out of a job as well. It's tough enough out there for LEOs without having garbage like this as part of the problem.

The lady from that first segment is braver than I'd ever be by just ignoring the guy and not saying a word to him. I'd have immediately answered his "tell me to leave you alone" with "why do you think we're here, dipshit?" and it probably would have just made things worse.
