I like to do the LOC method to lock in moisture as moisture leaves my hair just as quickly as it gets in. Liquid(Water or Leave-in conditioner) - Oil - Cream (Buttercreme styling product). I have fine strands but high porosity. My hair gets weight down but it doesn't feel dirty or gross, probably becuz I have tight tiny kinky coils.

I just watched 7 of your videos. They are so helpful. I pretty much was doing everything wrong! I just got the air dry brush and found your video afterwards. I definitely learned some tricks and the heat test is my favorite. Also, after I showered, I went to town on the hair oil. Anyways, now I know what to do (use on wet hair and overdo it) so I am sure it will come out much better next time. Thank you!

Applying oil to ends on wash days: Is oil applied after leave in conditioner and blowout cream, while hair is still wet, before blow drying? Or is the oil applied as the final final step after the hair has been blow dried? Thank you for the clarification. I understand the application on non-wash days, but confused on wash days.

Hi Chris, I have oily scalp and dry ends. My hair is fine and thinning and my hair gets oily with 7-8 hours of shampooing. Also I sweat a lot in top part of my scalp, so if I style my hair with too much heat or I am outside, my hair gets oily within 1-2 hours of styling/shampooing. Can you suggest me something?
