How to Relight a Pilot Light on Your Boiler

Before we start make sure the thermostat is off, turn off the power to the boiler

Remove the cover and set the gas valve to the off position.

Now remove the access plate which is usually held by two screws

Once we are ready turn the gas valve to the pilot position and light the pilot while holding the red button down

Release after 60 seconds and the pilot should stay on.

Let's start putting everything back

Put back the access plate and turn the gas valve to the on position.

Place back the cover and turn the power on and set your thermostat to a temperature above ambient room and we can confirm for combustion.
