preview_player
Показать описание
FlexVolt Advantage - you can hear and see it. Big difference in power when FlexVolt batteries are used! This drill really should have had anti-kickback built in. Oooooph!

42% more power when using a 6.0Ah FlexVolt or larger battery versus a 5.0ah battery.

Available now: $179 bare tool
($279 kit with 6.0Ah FlexVolt and charger)

Using a FlexVolt 6.0ah battery or larger will make this 20v drill an absolute powerhouse.

More power than the DCD998 Power Detect model.

Why go with FlexVolt Advantage 20v?
If you are are currently using FlexVolt or want to get into FlexVolt but also want to be able to use the tools with all your existing 20v batteries.

Why go with Power Detect 20v?
If you are sticking strictly with the 20v lineup but you want the most powerful saw you can get in 20v using the new XR batteries with 21700 cells.

For anyone who works with drills everyday, you'd know thats a strong drill
But its definitely Dewalt to have multiple batteries with different power settings to squeeze every penny out of us

He sounds like he upgraded from playing with nerf guns to drills

Moment of silence for those waiting for speed 3

Use speed 2 when you need high torque. This is to insure that your tools are stored safely at the repair shop.

With today's insane wood prices, I'm cringing while he's destroying a perfectly good timber.

There was a lot less wood to drill through on that last setting.

Not entirely accurate. All wood drill bits do way better with an open place to exhaust the shavings.

Due to the rising cost of lumber, the drill was the cheaper part included in this test.

“Let’s clip on the 9 amp hr” but it’s really just a 6 amp hr

Protip: If you don't bash your knuckles into the wood on every hole, the wood will get termites

More load if you are drilling the entire diameter, and you should always drill a large bit on slow speed. The only difference between 5&6 amp will be how long it runs for. 🤦‍♂️

I’m seeing an excellent upgrade to my kid’s PowerWheels!

I like the way you drill off the edge for a nice side view of the progress/speed. 👌

I almost closed the video but when he said "And that was speed 1" my curiously has never been so piqued

It's a 6ah, except when your reading it upside down. Then the magic happens

My old 18V Dewalt can do that too... I have a adaptor to run Milwaukee battery's on it and that is what makes it came alive
