Comparing the New DeWalt DCD 1007 to the DeWalt DCD999 FlexVolt Advantage

They are both excellent. I believe the 1007 really shines on larger fasteners. The 999 is more than good enough for anything I will need it for.

The power doesn’t show in the new girl until you’re running bigger cutting devices (big spades, spider bits, etc.) a few videos demonstrate this. Both are solid drills.

The DCD999 is a beast. Having said that, compare the 2 with some really beefy lag bolts. The 1007 will dog walk the 999. Got both drills myself and I am super impressed with the 1007.

DCD 1007 really shows its increased performance in hammer mode, for ordinary drilling tasks I didn't see a difference, also as others have said it really shows its power in the tougher drilling and driving tasks. It seems like the tougher the job the more it shines.
