I’m a commercial electrician, most contractors buy dewalt 20v line. Battery tools are great, makes any job easy. Also they take a beating on the job sites and keep on working. I have no experience with Milwaukee but most plumbers and elevator contractors use them and they all like. Both brands are great, it’s whatever you want to buy, but can’t go wrong with either lineup. Now both brands are making more trade specific tools, sales rep have my company the new dewalt 20v lug crimping tool and battery knockout set, both work great

You can't go wrong with Red or Yellow. It all depends on which battery platform you invest in. I was already invested in 20v Max batteries, so I'm all DeWalt. But I do have some Milwaukee 12v tools. Makita is good also, but it's harder to find Makita in the hardware stores. if you're out of town, you can always find a Milwaukee or DeWalt place to buy stuff.

Does the Milwaukee Chuck have a slight wobble when you look straight at it and pull trigger slow? Mine does I just bought it wondering if they all do that.

Hey everybody, I just ran my own test last night, and I don’t think you can go wrong with either one of these drills.
I also tested the Flex, but purposely didn’t use the turbo to make it fair.
I tested a1/2” twist bit, a 1/2” spade bit and a 1/2” auger bit in each drill going through 8” of wood. All three drills were tested as kitted.
Without turbo, the Flex was the slowest of the three. Both Milwaukee and Dewalt performed very well. The Milwaukee had the 5 amp battery and the Dewalt had the 6 amp flex volt battery. The Milwaukee was the fastest overall, but the Dewalt was the fastest with the auger bit.
The Milwaukee and the Flex got very slightly warm, but absolutely nothing to worry about.
The Dewalt was smooth, stayed cool and never even bogged down in speed three. The Milwaukee only bogged down slightly with the auger bit.
I was really impressed by both drills.

I own both brands. and I have had a consistent issue with having to replace Dewalt before the Milwaukee. They are both solid but it just seems Milwaukee lasts longer.

I just want to say that people should use these videos as a reference only.
My advice is that consumers should try out as many different brands as possible and decide, for themselves, what works best for their needs.
Ergonomics should also be considered when choosing a brand, because the average person will want to use the brand that is the most comfortable for them.
Milwaukee and Flex were the least comfortable for me to use on a regular basis.

I’m team “best tool for the job” I have a Milwaukee drill 2804-20 (3rd gen) that I’ve had for 5 years and have wired close to 20 large houses with it (Bearings just blew out on it yesterday and I have parts in the mail now to fix it ). I have a beloved Dewalt 20 V impact driver, Milwaukee cable stapler, Dewalt 20 V mini blower, Dewalt circular saw, Dewalt oscillating, tool, Milwaukee chainsaw, DeWalt sawzall, Bosch hammer drill, etc. honestly, if you’ve allowed yourself to be branded then you’re cheating yourself. Life is messy, one brand rarely fits all needs perfectly…if you want the best tool in each class.

I have both lines. Both in 12v and 18-20v. I have both drills in the test. I collect tools. I like all battery platforms. I just bought that Milwaukee drill on Amazon for $87. I couldn’t pass it up. Thing is a beast with the 6.0. I can’t imagine it with the new forge 6.0. Battery. The dewalt is also great. Works good.
