The only thing I would add: find your favorite breath. Yes, even breaths are nice, but there are other breaths that feel good and help keep me grounded. I like deep breaths that draw in the belly and expand the chest, with a hold at the top. That has a deep stretch no matter what the position, and it targets hard to reach intercostal muscles between the ribs. Then an exhale as long as I can do, allowing my whole body to relax on the way down.

At 75 and with osteoarthritis, yoga is the only practice that is kind to my joints, yet I keep reading that I should do cardio alongside. My gut feeling is that yoga alone can keep you perfectly fit. I'd love to hear your thoughts about this. Thank you..peace.
