Here are 5 SIMPLE interventions;
1. Healthy Gut 🤩
👉Eat a wide range of plant foods and fibre to keep the gut microbes healthy.
👉Including; Fruit, Veg, Oats, Wholegrains, Nuts, Seeds, Beans, Pulses, Legumes, Herbs, Spices, Teas and coffees (don’t over do the caffeine though!)
👉Eat PREbiotic foods such as Onions, Garlic, Leeks, Bananas, Oats, Asapargus and Fermented foods like Sauerkraut and Kefir.
👉Avoid poor quality, processed meat as it’s harmful to our gut microbiome. Grass-Fed is BEST and consumed once a week.
👉PRObiotics beneficial for some people’s current gut health.
2. Balanced Diet 🥗
👉Reduce refined sugars and processed foods.
👉Add veg to meals
👉Herb Butters made with Olive oil, keep in the fridge and spoon onto food like a sauce.
👉Fruit as a dessert or snack
👉Stay hydrated - aim for 2ltrs a day
👉Switch to Wholegrains
