This is wrong information. E cvt is a marketing jargon only. Car does not have a conventional transmission since it runs on the electric motor alone most of the time while the petrol engine acts as a generator to charge up the battery. As a result acceleration is brisk, linear and effortless unlike turbo petrol engines which suffer from turbo lag until they hit a certain rpm
