The problem with a website like this indicating "most complaints" is that it fails to show, out of how many vehicles sold that year. It needs percentages.

I drive a 2007 EX-L bought brand new and now has 221k miles on it and it JUST started having major wear and tear but had them fixed all for around $1000 and now it’s back to great again! Gonna be driving it for as long as I can!

I have a Honda Civic with 384, 000 miles. After 300, 000 it started to give some engine problems, but that’s expected. I thank Jesus for the years of savings.

I have a 2018 Honda EX that I purchased just about 2 years ago. Not one issue and I am very satisfied across the board. The latest generation Accord is one of the best IMO!

2008 Accord here. 175k, only issues I've had is the rear brakes wear out in about 20k miles, they are easy to change out.

Both the 03 and 08 Accords were first year models for their respective generations. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I am on my 3rd Accord and drove mine of the dealer in 2011 and 11 years later I had zero problems except for a battery that died. Stay on top of maintenance and you will not be disappointed

I bought a 2017 Coupe Touring V6. Didn't want a turbo charged car so opted for the 3.5 V6. Best engine in my opinion.

Just got a brand new 2020 Honda Accord Sport with 138 miles on it after I got into a terrible accident with my Honda Civc EX Sedan. Wasn’t my fault for the collision but thankful to god that no one was hurt or killed

I had an 04 with the defective 5 speed automatic transmission. Honda didn't own up to the problem when it died. I also had the issue with the head unit dying. That was luckily covered under my extended warranty, thank God, but would otherwise cost like $1000. My friends with these cars had the same issues. When my friend's 04 tranny died, it locked up on him and he damn near crashed the car. The shock to the other components literally caused his head unit to fry at the same time, along with some other electrical components. I also had the brake rotor warping problems, which seemed to plague Accords for like a decade. I finally got Duralast Gold rotors and that fixed the problem.

I did notice that the 2003 and 2008 model years were also the first year that those generation Accords were redesigned. That's proof that first year cars are often best avoided because usually like any other new technical item, there will be some bugs that haven't been worked out yet and it will usually take some time to get those bugs resolved. I have a 2007 Accord with hardly no problems except wear and tear items and the airbag inflators being replaced due to the Takata Airbag recalls and 2007 was the last year of that generation and the last year of a generation is usually the most reliable model.

Assuming these are all “automatic “ transmissions with problems ? Unless I missed it, you didn’t say it. Typically, Honda has excellent manual transmissions, so I’m assuming you meant Automatic

I owned a 2001 and had my transmission fail. Recently purchased a 2020 and hope to own it for a few years without issues.

It was the V6 models that could have transmission problems not the 4 cyls. Problem long solved since 2004. A lot of people
never had problems.

Still have a 2007 Honda Accord going strong

Leading with a photo of the latest generation Accord and then focussing your narration on older Accords is misleading. I was interested in comments regarding the latest generation. You should replace the photo with an older generation Accord. Your comments go back to a 2001 Accord which is twenty years ago. I doubt there are many viewers looking for information on a 2001 Accord. Just my opinion.

Still driving our 2002 Accord, over 340, 000 km. We have never had a single problem other than normal wear and tear. We love this car.
