💪How To Do A Lat Pulldown CORRECTLY

Here are some simple tips and cues to help you get the most out of the lat pulldown exercise, along with some common mistakes to avoid. Since we can't actively see our backs as we train, we must make sure form is on point. Mind-muscle connection helps, too!

By performing the lat pulldown correctly, you'll be able to build an impressive back and make your waist appear smaller! A strong back can also help prevent injury and can improve your strength on other lifts!

I usually don't like this exercise cuz I feel awkward and I don't feel like it working any part of my body but thanks to this I know I had not only the form but the movements wrong. I just did a set following your instructions and wow!

This was so helpful! I just started working out with a new machine I got at home and because I have never done this before I didn’t realize that I had way too much chain and couldn’t get the right form until watching you do it. After making the chain shorter everything makes more sense and feels so much better, thank you thank you!

OMG! I've made most of these mistakes. No one ever told me different. Over time I started feeling pain in my shoulders. Wish I started watching u when I started working out years ago, I wouldn't have the pain I do now. Now I have to be super careful when lifting so I don't reinjure my shoulder. These are very good tips. Thanks Erin! 👍🏽

I doubt whether I do the 2nd part wrong, cuz there ain't no one behind me (I think I do it completely right? I go all the way down and my arms are front for this wide grip) and I do most of it correct, so darn.

Whoa, instant difference in where I was feeling the muscle workout. All this time I was getting mostly my arms and shoulders. I actually felt this is my lats today!
