He said " It was only making like 750 hp", that must be like having a Briggs & Stratton engine in the shop compared to what is usually in there.

It's unreal that we can get your level of info for free! I am over 50, and no chance I'll ever need to know anything about building an engine, but I love watching Steve do his thing. It's like following KSR. They are both just simply best in class. :) Thank you Steve!

Being able to see brake output is great. I have my output % beside the pressure reading (hydraulic brake). Great to see YourDyno working well and the user base expanding a lot!

Sometimes the intake is too small making the carb go rich too. Shorten runners bigger plenum. Had a N/A small block we had on the dyno tried from a 1150 to a 1650 carb same results going rich cut the manifold apart made the plenum a lot bigger and shortened the runners picked up 35hp with that being the only change.

Interesting. Always thought smaller carbs just meant less air, less fuel. Didn't think more fuel would be introduced because of demand. Appreciate the explaination!

We used those valves in commercial marine controls . Great valves for priming big cargo pumps

Rule of thumb; max engine rpm X cubic inch ÷ 3456 = approximate cfm needed😎

The explanation on the Dyno was good. I enjoyed that sweet big block sound!

The title reads "what happens when carb is too small" 11 min. of how your dyno is running.

after watching your video about mullets engine. i can understand the use of a timing belt with your race engines. since they are built so often and easy to see any damage to the belt. but i just had one snap on me. but it lasted longer than it should've

I just noticed your Jakes performance and fabrication sticker on the window. He was a very nice guy and my uncles best friend. They did a lot to his mustang together with pro charger
