I'm downloading every FPS pack to boost my FPS until I hit 500 FPS in Fortnite. Today I tried Fortnite FPS packs to get 500 FPS on my gaming laptop to optimize Windows and Fortnite to boost my FPS and get zero delay. I will be benchmarking my FPS as we go, so you'll see if fortnite optimizations actually work while I optimize my budget gaming laptop with an RTX 3060.

edit 2: people are reporting viruses from ULTIMATE TWEAKS but i js did a scan on virustotal, bitdefender, triage, malwarebytes, fortinet, and only got 1 false flag in total, but scan it urself as well js to be sure

Laptop GPU's are a lot less powerful than PC GPU's. For example, a laptop 3060 is around as powerful as a 2070 or even less. Mainly because it gets set back by VRAM and cooling. To improve FPS properly, you would need software like AtlasOS, Hone and/or ROG Armoury Crate.

I'll explain each optimization,
AtlasOS - Optimizes your windows install very well
Hone - Overall W, no clue what it does but it helps reduce ping and RAM use
Armoury Crate - Optimizes your laptop's cooling performance

guys just to let you know, exit lag does work. Especially if your isp has shitty routing, it can sometimes make a massive difference, in valorant i dropped from 80 ping on frankfurt to like 24.

Bro, try custom os. FoxOS: i got 850-900 fps see in sky, ping 25 (before 30-35. rtx 4060, ryzen 5600, 16 gb ram) FoxOS+tweaks from post install/any tweaks is best (50 processes, 1.5 gb ram. FoxOS 11 23h2)

Yo just a tip if u dont wanna redownload fn after a windows reset just grab a pendrive copy the game files to them and after u reinstalled windows u just paste the files back to where they were before the reset. Also the vis is awesome!

Just go with dx12 it's much more stable with high end gpus you wont get higher fps but a more stable fps which is better in my opinion

I saw you mentioned "buying a new laptop" and would like to add that the RTX 3060 laptop GPU is much much different from the 3060. It is about 36.1% slower acc. to tech city.
