*that backyard is just a playground for wild animals. look at all those junk. No wonder the dog didn't see it coming.*

Maybe they should clean up their backyard so the coyotes don't have a place too hide!!!

This is so sad. This is why I've owned German shepherds all my life. I want a dog able to defend itself

So very sorry for your loss. I hope everyone can learn for your unfortunate experience. What I see is #1, keep your yard clear of clutter, giving a line of visibility in all directions. #2 Clear the yard BEFORE you allow your pets out. #3 carry an airhorn and STAY with your pets while they're taking care of business #4. Do not leave your pets/children out alone, PERIOD! These animals are DESPERATELY hungry, do not leave pet food bowls outdoors with food. Again, so very sorry for your loss!

I can't watch the video. But why are dogs *ever* left unattended if coyotes are around? Over my dead body would my beloved dog be wandering around like that.

Just another day nature's taking it's course. Can't blame the coyotes.

I feel sad for the coyotes as well as the dogs. Seriously

With more coyote sightings, people need to stop leaving their pets outside unattended even if it’s to use the bathroom.

With all that junk in the yard, I wouldn't be surprised what wild things live in there. Also, this is just nature, plain and simple!

The language!!? Attacked, killed… all that wild coyote did was eat, eat to survive.

That's probably because of all the wild fires they've had. The coyotes have been ran out of the wild into the residential areas.

When you have smaller chihuahua you have to be outside when thy are outside. They are like babies, you wouldn’t leave your baby outside alone, not even for a second. I’m so sorry the chihuahuas😢

Never leave small dogs unattended. If it’s not a coyote next time it will be a hawk or a snake. Treat them like your 2 year old toddler. Don’t let them leave your sight. Don’t blame nature for doing what nature does
