Captured on camera: Coyote vs. cat in Seattle

Hold on to your cats, Seattle.

It's common these days to see viral videos of people pilfering packages from porches, but an Amazon Ring camera captured a more unusual scene in GeekWire co-founder Todd Bishop's side yard in Seattle's Ballard neighborhood this week: a neighbor's cat leaping for his life, literally, with an urban coyote hot on his tail.

Outdoor cats usually have much shorter lives, this time this cat got lucky. I love my cats so much they are housecats and have a screened in porch to enjoy the outside without destroying the bird population, some species of small animals and birds are almost extinct due to outdoor pet cats and feral ones.I have my educated opinion as I work with conservation.

Seems like the coyote didn't want to eat the cat or he would have been trying harder.

This cat is great at jumping and climbing’s but when it is at the dead and or get tired if have to fight back
