Which one is right for you? Native Android VS Native iOS Development in 2022

Today we're going to cover a few key elements that should be kept in mind when choosing to be an Android developer, or an iOS developer. Sometimes we don't have a choice with our financial situation, and in that case Android is the way to go. Otherwise if you can permit yourself a MacBook, then you can choose to do either one freely.

Crossplatform is also cool, but that's a completely different subject.

my reason for choosing Android is Iphones, Ipads, Macs are too expensive and Android has the largest market share and thus has significantly more people available to use your app.

I think kotlin is the Future, because android native apps, jetpack compose, ktor, KMM and kmp

Hi indently, 5 days ago I switched to Android development with Kotlin from JavaScript and Web and PHP for the server side. I even did some basic SQL mostly making queries, but that’s about it. I was focused on web dev for 1 year so I learned a lot of different things.
Question? Since you had experience with Android. What is the best way to learn Android Development? Since downloading Android Studio all I’ve ran into is errors from Gradle not able to launch the emulator to other error issues. It has been a tuff start.
Is there a learning path or any tips or recommended learning resources I should check out? I would really appreciate any tips or advice, thanks in advance!

Android studio is a very unstable EDI. always has unknown errors. I run android studio on macOS and windows 11.

I guess pay is more for iOS dev and competition is less in ios job market compared to Android.
