Had a PS4 Pro up until 3 weeks ago when I got a PS5. The PS5 is definitely a lot smoother and quicker, and the picture is a lot clearer. However, I had put an SSD in my Pro, so it was still pretty quick. The Pro is no slouch, but you can definitely feel the power and speed behind the PS5.

I want a ps5 because I don’t want to get left behind (like I did when games stopped releasing on ps3) but I absolutely love the ps4 Home Screen or whatever you want to call it, and I’m just so accustomed to everything about the console

Well, my partner's son bought a PS5...and gave me his old PS4. We are both very happy. Since I had no console upgrade since PS1, I think PS4 is great 😊

PS5 is better than PS4 obviously, but in terms of convenience, PS4 was a much better console

I’m under no delusion to think or say technology doesn’t get better as we go along. It’s just the nature of the business . Yet I have the ps4 pro with the Samsung 2tb ssd upgrade on a premium 4k Mini led. While my brother has a ps5 in his setup. My point is that the PS5 to me has not wowed me into upgrading just yet. Especially with limited exclusives games that make the ps5 really standout in saying. “NOW THIS IS NEXT GEN”. In fact I’m fully content waiting for a ps5 pro to upgrade to if anything. It’s my opinion though.

just went from a ps4 original to a ps5. my ps4 was like a jet engine. the ps5 is much quieter and loads up the games pretty quick. if you have the funds go for a ps5 otherwise a ps4 pro might be fine but considering the used price of ps4 pro, its not much more to get a ps5.

We have our own preferences. Both consoles are great but my gameplay experiences are getting immerse when I've been playing on my PS5. I have PS4 too and been using it for seven years. It's great you've got gaming console collections.

Weird but the PS4 looks better to me, looks so stylish, anyway, don't seems a big of a difference to me since Im gonna use a series X for my main console, I just want my first ps to play all the exclusives, btw wich games from ps5 can't be played on the ps4 ? that's my last doubt to go straight with the ps4

Right now PS4. It continues to get most of the titles and if you’ve waited this long to get a PS5 you can wait another year for the slim or the pro which will instantly turn the current PS5 into an outdated behemoth in terms of aesthetics and power at a similar or even lower price and you’ll regret not waiting a little longer.

I took over someone’s pawn to get mine with disc drive and madden… it included the psVR2 all for $420. Haven’t tried the VR yet. But I hate how huge these downloads for each game is. I can have 6-9 games ready to play .

Sony is and was making games for the ps4 due to it's shortage on ps5 units. The shortage is almost over if not over. So soon Sony will stop making games for the ps4/ps4 pro. Also I wanted to add that it is much easier to upgrade the storage on a ps4/ps4pro. I added a 2tb ssd on my ps4 pro. The ps4 pro has one primary internal storage where the ps5 has the optional 2nd drive which you can add but it has to be a 4th gen nvme. If you buy a 3rd gen nvme it will not be compatible with the ps5.

I had no choice but to upgrade my ps4 slim just randomly stop working & won’t power on so I gave up on that & bought a ps5 digital edition for $399 after taxes plus shipping $450 in total, I honestly can’t believe you spent $850 to get it

Had the ps4 for 9 years and i have taken good care of it but i think it is time to say goodbye, it has a hard time loading everything and oml the airport i have in my room isnt fun. The ps5 is just what I need and will probably have it for another 10 years 😭

I heard some rumors that the PS5 slim won’t be in the UK till next year which it will have 1TB of console storage.
