Clean from porn for almost a month and a half, i feel like i am slowly making small victories in overcoming the evil spirit of the devil that has been inside me, christ is freeing me. For 15 years I hit myself again and again mentally. Now My focus has changed, I look up to Jesus. (I just need a icon)

I think lust is the most poweful weapon the devil has in his arsenal.

Lust has always been a particularly dangerous passion. It's call is sweet and promises many things you think you can have. It satiates you temporarily and only leaves you feeling worse about it after the matter. Worse still is that it turns you into the likes of an eternally hungry beast seeking only to devour something to tide over your next pitiful and empty meal. It is an ever consuming passion that will leave you with a perverted sense of love and in the end devours you whole. This has and never will be an easy thing to overcome and should be fled from immediately when it calls. I've had more than my share of it and it's a spiral of misery. Take heed of the words of Father Spyridon as everything he's said is the truth about Lust. Flee from it should the temptress that is Lust comes knocking at your door and speak to your priest about it.
I can only hope and pray that those suffering from this passion find themselves freed from the bondage of it.

I was struggling with lust earlier today really badly and it was very strong, and I called out to God to deliver me from such temptations, and then I stumbled upon this video. I think seeing this video was God giving me a sign.
