I have had a serious p*rn addiction in my past. It’s gotten extremely better as I have asked for help and repentance and forgiveness from Jesus but I still fall short because I am not perfect or worthy to even be called a good man. I still feel shameful for the feelings of lust and thoughts I get. But the times that it does happen to me I notice the thoughts go away in seconds and I feel immediately convicted by the Holy Spirit. It used to not be like that. Lord Jesus thank you for forgiving me for every sin. Please brothers and sisters pray for me. It is a hard battle to fight and it is very hard to admit, especially because I have a good woman who truly loves me. As hard as it is, all battles are victorious through my lord and savior Jesus Christ!!! I know I can ONLY overcome this battle through him, and I WILL overcome this battle BECAUSE of HIM! I've battled with lustful spirits from a very young age. I am now 54 years of age and I'm still battling lustful spirits. Please God I was doing so well months ago but I have fallen short in the last several weeks. I realize I can't fight this alone. I feel so guilty for falling short and the enemy is literally trying to take over my body. Please help me God I need you. I want to be closer to you. Please take the terrible affliction away from me. I can literally feel the enemy moving through my body in a way that is so intense that it causes me to sin just to relieve the pressure. This is one of the most underrated attacks by the enemy. There is so many ways he attacks you with lust, from the movies and TV shows you watch, the music you listen too, the friends you surround yourself by, even your relationships with your significant other !

Especially as men, this becomes a difficult battle.

Anyone battling with lust, I pray you open your heart more for God, you accept what he’s trying to give you in life, you remove yourself from situations of temptation and just trust in his promise. I pray you stay disciplined and continue to fight against the enemy, you are not alone!

I struggled with sex addiction, pornography addiction 30 years of deep darkness, and lusting after women, cheating on my wife with porn and checking girls out for 10 years.

Jesus freed me....be honest with him, your spouse and yourself and he can then free you from lust. It's possible 🥺 anyone can do it through Christ only 🙏 Prayer and study will lead to true change, don't let it distroy your mind anymore and your marriages and relationships. Demons come into you and take over your body when you are addicted to the above things. Our wives were created to be our helpers and desire to be our helpers in everyway...it was built into them from God. I pray for you all struggling and suffering. Just give it all to God 🙏

How to Overcome Lust: Stop thinking it's you who can overcome it by your own willpower, you will not. Satan is constantly influencing you and trying to get you to give in. You must pray and quote scripture to make it run away from you and also do your best to avoid situations and imagines that influence these bodily desirers. Just keep quoting scripture and trusting in Christ to be your strength
