As a Catholic, I find your videos refreshing, I am a retired Navy Vet, I live in Tampa, single, never married (I am still trying to figure that out), temptation sucks. I know that God watches over me daily and answers my prayers, for me, I pray every day that God will bring someone special into my life because when I am alone that is when I am the weakest, I know that God is with me, I just yearn to have a GF that would turn into something more. Pastor is so so right about our tendency to overestimate how strong we are at resisting sin / temptation. No amount of willpower or relying on your own strength will work. We are not strong enough to do it consistently. Only the power of God can! Striving to live by the example of Jesus and walk in wisdom regarding temptation.
