Therefore, being a Christian is the hardest journey anyone willing can endure. Our God has set out for us to love a perfect life in a world run by evil and sin. I personally think there is nothing harder.

This week marks two straight years of being pure and celibate in my bodily habits. I feel blessed and free for the first time in my life and I know I had divine help in this struggle, I have won the war. Never ever give up trying to be good. Amen.

I had been struggling with sexual sin my entire life almost. Things such as pornography, masturbation, and premarital sex was consuming me and I felt controlled and drained by my sexual impulses constantly. Every time I tried to break the cycle I would fall back into it again. But then I found Jesus and he has freed me. I am no longer a slave to my sexual pleasure. This is not to say I do have have the impulses still but with the strength and love of Jesus everything is possible. If you are in the same boat as I was please know that with God all things can be done and you can be transformed

Lust is poison to the spirit. It leads to ignorance and clouds our innate wisdom. It also leads to all sorts of sins, like abortion, jealousy, murder etc.

Ever since I started battling my masturbation addiction I discovered how weak I actually am against the bodily desires and how hard it is to overcome this evil passion. Despite my efforts I find myself sinning again and again. Passions like these truly humble a person like me, always making me wonder how long will it take for me to conquer them. However, I never lose hope, I know God is watching over us, both in our victories and our defeats and urges us to continue our battles. Thank you Father Spyridon for your speeches. I’ve been battling lately me and my fiancé have been long distance and the distance makes it even harder to chase purity at times after not seeing one another. Pray for our purity and for our trials during repentance. God bless

Although I’m not particularly struggling with sexual sin at the moment, it’s always a good reminder to remain humble and not let the prideful victory turn into arrogance.
