It's been a stressful few weeks at our house, so thank you so much for hanging in there while we took a little break and sticking around for this upload!

I remember when you first told me about your animation plans and dreams. I don't know if I've ever seen you so excited before or since then, not even about your garden. If you still feel this way, I really hope you pick it back up. That kind of enthusiasm really shows in the end result, and it's inspiring how hard you worked at something you'd never tried before.

As a fellow "all or nothing" personality, I feel this so much...🙃

Animation so super addicting, it becomes a something you have to be super dedicated to. But I have to be careful not to let it consume my life. Part of the problem with it is that animated content takes forever to make, and when you start getting negative comments it can really hurt, because of the hours you invest into an animation.

As an artist who has been trying to start animation but couldn’t due to personal reasons, I really appreciated this video. I remember watching the blimeytoons when they first came out and, while not great, they were still entertaining to me. I hope that you will continue making animations and I can’t wait to see what you create 🙂

I love those "let's sit down and talk" videos. They're just so real and inspiring

Jordan I'm one of the anomaly moms who follows your channel. I think I just figured out why. The total immersion style of learning you describe is typical of highly gifted individuals. I have several family members who are just short of experts in subject after subject that they have become obsessed with over the years. There are things that stick long term (do you still have the worms?) but often times they become saturated or distracted by another awesome thing and move on. You are so blessed to work in a forum allowing flexibility to explore and share your passions. This is what's awesome about this platform!

Even if it didn't get the desired results, it is still one of my favorite things to watch! I'm still amazed how good it looked especially being your first attempts!

As an animator I totally understand the struggle. I made animations for my family and they alway said they were good, but once I started putting stuff online, I realized it was so different. I faced a lot of criticism but the addiction to animation was too much for me to stop over (though, I have slowed down a lot here and there). It’s really too bad you stopped making animations, there was a lot of potential in your animations.

I feel for you, because putting yourself out there, and then getting hurt is never easy. But I'm super impressed that you just keep trying. That's absolutely what it takes! You are very inspiring

I’m sorry people were insensitive Jordan 🥺 People forget content creators are people sometimes

I loved the animated shorts! They were so creative and funny. I re-watched Big Head Kid and the Alien so many times! I hate when you say that you weren't good at it because I truly think you are/were. It's just different for your audience. I really hope you're able to get back into it and it brings you joy again and you can release some when you're ready.

I'm glad to see you're picking this up again. No one's first animation is going to look amazing. But it's incredible how fast you learned the basics so I think there's a reason why you are so interested in this, and you should definitely pursue it because you have a lot of potential. Don't let anyone kill your dreams and passions. Do it for you. And you will eventually get better in time and more people will grow to love your work.
Keep it up. Love the honest, down to earth videos lately

I love seeing how multidimensional and well rounded people can be. You have so many talents and passions, and it’s fun to see how a lot of them connect to each other.

Hey Jordan, love your content, 3 year old subscriber...the thing which fascinates me about your videos, is the story telling, the simplest things of life. Didn’t knew you animate as well, the short clips you put, looked fun. I would definitely watch. Love from India.

Yo!!!!
I had no idea you made cartoons! The quality looks just about the same quality I've seen on kid's TV shows, so you BETTER be proud! >:3
I'd be so thrilled to see you animate again. With all the BlineyCow characters you guys have amassed, there's certainly a lot of potential there!
I watched this video in subtle hopes that it would encourage me to abandon my own dreams, as I've been wrestling with them rather intensely as a graduate. I've come to acknowledge that it's not quite possible for me to make a living from them, but rather than giving them up completely, your story was more encouraging on that point. :)
There's a time and a place for everything, and I can see how it would be God's will that you stopped animating for a while, to then carry it on in the future. I hope blessings abound from your determination!
Thank you for that twist-ending full of hope, haha. <3

I was thinking about Blimey Toons the other day, and missing them. Glad to hear you're getting back into your passions, man.

Wow! I'm so happy that you've gone back to animation. I thought those two videos you made years ago were deadly 😁 And I appreciate your transparency, too. It can be excruciatingly embarrassing and hurtful when other people just don't appreciate our passion, but again, it's great that you're returning to it.
