Relief. It means for me that I was over-stressed to begin with. Agree. I read about the increased teenage suicide rate upon returning to school.

My first go-to for parenting anxiety is to honestly say to my son "Mommy and I love you very, very much." Then I add whatever age appropriate response is needed at that moment in the context of our family's worldview. Honestly, my son and his friends are better at coping than me, sometimes.

I find teens are finding it hard to cope after the pandemic . Many of the teens I work with are still using an online school.
