People should be banned from teasing sharks like this. Tag them yes, but making them eat and attack things they cannot eat or digest does not have the sharks health and wellbeing at heart.

Those are some beautiful white sharks. Especially the big 18' female she's absolutely gorgeous.

Agree with not wanting to hurt the shark by feeding it foam and plastic, but if you were going inside this thing you'd have to ask why they made the underneath so flimsy!

Load of bs letting the sharks eat rubber and researching nothing. This was all for the show and nothing for the betterment of these beautiful beasts.

They need to do an episode on all the different safety divers and just how insane they are

Watching them tease these beautiful creatures really steamed my piss man. What these idiots don't know is that by baiting these sharks to attack they're encouraging them to interact with humans which means humans getting potentially attacked more often & then it gives these poor sharks a bad reputation when in reality it's us humans fault to begin with

So pretty much you teased the sharks so you can get footage of them? 🤔🤔🤔

First of all, a very entertaining video, however. South Africa great white sharks have always been known to be substantially smaller than great whites elsewhere in the world. So to suggest that there used to be a large population of 16-18 foot sharks around south African waters is ridiculous. Admittedly, the shark they estimated to be over 18 feet long was a big shark, when you see the diver next to her, that diver must have been at least 9 foot long. The biggest great white sharks are normally found around Guadalupe, California, Japan and the Mediterranean sea.

These people are wasting valuable Shark calories and energy and they are not discovering nothing but wasting shark time and energy

All in the name of conservation? I myself love to feast on styrofoam and fiberglass as much as I'm sure the sharks do. Give e a break. I sure hope your materials are biodegradable and won't harm the sharks and any other creature that eats it!!!

What are they learning from doing this? Seems to be all for camera and not for the better of mankind? Hey let’s feed this shark foam and plastic!! 😤

This is definitely not the Shark week of old…. Too much showboating and next to zero actual research. Wasn’t this the same team that nearly got their diver eaten a year or 2 ago?

the shark just eat a big chunk of plastik thanks to you guys

Creative yes, I just don’t see a clear objective if they were doing this for research. How would you like it if someone put a fake meal on your plate.
