Tina and Josh Fey traveled to Gulf Breeze for their anniversary but what they weren’t expecting was to see an almost 10 foot Mako shark wash ashore while they were relaxing on Pensacola Beach.

The couple said they contacted authorities to let them know the shark had washed ashore. They then took matters into their own hands once they realized the shark may have just needed a nudge back into the water.

That last dude has my respect. I imagine he knew that the shark was more concerned about getting back into the water than going after his next meal. Priorities.

Neon hat guy. You were the main hero in this amazing rescue. He knew exactly what to do to keep the shark from getting stuck again and Turing back around. Letting the water get under him and into his gills and get oriented. But props to all those strong Florida men who helped. I love Southern Men!! 💪🏼🍊

The shark was like a toddler saying, “I’ll do it MYSELF!”

Really great rescue. True men!

These guys are absolute selfless heroes. They were in danger from this magnificent animal but they recognized his right to live, and didn't give up until the shark was free. They weren't going to watch it flail helplessly around until it died. A huge thank you to you all.

That’s not a Great White but a Mako. Which is considered an endangered species so even more props to the people involved in it’s rescue!

That is a HUGE mako - close relative to the white shark.

As a person has already said, this is a beautiful Mako shark, not a great white...look similar but you can see from the start the colouring is different plus other tell-tale signs.
This is an endangered species, so it's amazing to see, let alone, be able to save one.

Thank you to everybody who saves any species on land, air, or water.. I want you to know you are appreciated.

Bob returned to his people and told them tales of the over-water beings that helped him. The Shark King was moved. The Sharknado project was stopped and over the centuries, they learned to live in peace.

Huge props to everyone who helped with this rescue, but especially to that last guy who stuck around long enough to actually turn the shark right-side up, and point him away from the shore. That took some serious balls

The last guy who turned the shark right-side up and then gave it a push to get water moving over its gills so it could breathe... the real champion of the story.
