I have 500 screens. 1 for each stock in the SP500. Just order 30 more to track the DOW

I just upgraded my 1080p screen array to a 4k array. Each screen acts as one pixel, so there are millions of screens. I look at it from my Bloomberg Hot Air Balloon to achieve the proper viewing distance for maximum profit.

Damn the way this guy talks just is so freaking confident. I wish I will ever know so much about one specific subject as he does.

lol I love how Anton bursts little laughs while talking, he has seen all the moves the market plays on beginners that now he finds them so dumb and hilarious

The most I ever used when I was advsing and dealing for clients was 2, one for market data and one for portfolio information and order routing. The last place I worked in I was advising a total of £75 miliion and I did it with one screen. A friend of mine who was a market maker had about 8 screens but the main one he used was for an overview of the stocks, positions and P&L.

You don't need a super setup, but when the government taxes day traders as a business, you may as well buy a supersetup as a business expense and then just play wicked video games on it once the market closes o.O

After 5 years I now use a 50" HD monitor split into 4 charts. Spy, QQQ always on top 2 and trade almost daily...bottom 2 used for finding trade ideas. For my style of trading this is what I like. Ryzen 5 with 16gb ram and mid level video card. Trading platforms don't need powerful computers they are very light on CPU. Cheap too.

This is dude just delivered the cold hard truth. This is why I sold my smart phone and got a flip phone. People do not realize the amount of time and stupidity they are consuming on those things. They do not realize it.

The objective is to pick a day-trading stock or stocks which will go in the correct direction. Many screens may help and will certainly provide room for one to view things easier, which he wouldn't have, but -- too many become a distraction. Also, the more equipment: the more the cost. So this is costing a pretty penny prior to proceeding.

I’ve been trading 8 years and use 1 monitor + a calculator. My strategies are used on a 5 minute timeframe minimum (mostly hourlies), so if you’re a scalper you might need 2 screens but anything more than that is bullshit.

Guy looks like he has lost alot of sleep in his trading career.

You should not invest in an expensive setup until you have the earnings to warrant the spend. At that point you can add to your setup to grow and develop your skills.

Love the thumbs down
If anyone missed the point it was to have a clue, if anyone is hung up on actual screen count they don't have a clue

so if the professional traders don't use the same trading platforms as us retail traders then what do they use, he said they have direct market access but is that something that is only available to investment banks and stuff? I'm new to trading and haven't the foggiest
