The problem I see is that the starting bids can often be pretty high, 10 - 20k, and a lot higher on vacant land, so will take patience to find the lower ones, or you better have a lot of cash on hand to compete.

Do you usually have to renovate your tax deed properties or are they already furnished due to the previous family living there?

With tax liens, and deeds is all you pay for the lien or deed or let say you purchase a tax redemption deed and the redemption period is over you file a TDA or foreclosure on the property and no one bids in the auction and you get stuck with the property let’s say the property still has a mortgage loan through a lender once it becomes your property are you responsible for paying the remainder of that loan to the lender of the previous owner or no?
