I've been thinking about starting a practice of journaling for some time now and the deeper I go into my spiritual development, the deeper my intentions become towards understanding my mind & emotions as well as practicing self-compassion. I hope this time around it truly sticks.
On an off topic: I'd really like to thank The Mindful Movement for excellent videos and guidance. I have thoroughly enjoyed your work as it continues to help me enormously. IMO, The Mindful Movement channel is 1 of the top 10 YouTube channels available for self-help...and trust me, I've looked through a ton of them. Also, Sarah, your soothing voice, style and ability to guide meditatively is outstanding. Please continue to do the fantastic job that you all are doing. A fantastic book about journaling is Journal to the Self: Twenty-Two Paths to Personal Growth by Kathleen Adams. Its full of inspiring ideas to journal about, especially if you are on the path of selfknowledge en spirituality. I love journaling. I have been doing it since I was 11 and still going strong at 47! 😅 I did switch to 100% digital in the mean time. I love being able to compare between now and the same period in the previous years, did you know that the same themes keep repeating themselves every year? Until we learn the lessons. ❤ Happy journaling!

Ive tried so many things cos ive been in hospital several times since retirement in 08.twice with cancer.and ive fallen cos of liw blood pressure friends tell me ive done well .i am registered disabled cos of epilepsy as well.l mix with others easily but i still feel fearful .which i was told was because of a seizure i had as a child.l value my health more than anything

I have been Journaling for a while but I do not feel it's a practice for me. I am not consistent. I LOVE waking up and if there is something on my mind I write about it. But some mornings I do not journal. Watching again. For notes. Thank you New Month of September I set the intention to start journaling daily for peace of mind, so I can walk in my truth.

I love where my life is at, I'm coming full circle with my life years ago I ran across one your videos and with a support and your videos my life took off like a 747. Fast forward, the COVID lock down went into effect and I didn't have my support group and I used that to return to the lifestyle that had caused me to stop in the first place. Now, I've gotten some time with my father and for some of you I mean OUR FATHER ( smile). And today I realized that I've been looking at some of your videos and realized my prayers have brought me back to a healthy place a healthy way of life. And I thank God for bringing me back, to old ways and friends that made me smile and enjoy life again. Take care.

I have played at journaling but never stuck with it. I really want to do this seriously. Starting right now, early AM, 10 min to start. There is way to much clutter in my head so I am frozen. This will help. Thank you.

Wonderful journal prompt ideas Sara. Thank you! I've been wanting to establish a routine during this past year but haven't been consistent. I set my mind to it yesterday that I will journal each evening after dinner, just before my spiritual studies. I feel this will help clear my mind and help me better receive the messages from my studies. I appreciate what you do so very much and the journal prompts you provided will be very helpful. 🙏❤️🙏

Such great ideas, Sara! ❤️ I started an official journaling practice a few years ago after watching Clark Kegley's suggestions...I use a blank black 8 1/2 x 11 book and section it off by topics... gratitude, books, free write, God, books, health, etc and then each morning I start with gratitude and go from there. Being an English teacher I seem to have no problem with what to write about, but I love your prompts and will use them. My intention is to basically barf out things that are rolling around in my head, and I'm assured that I can go back and refer to them if needed (unlike my memory!). Journaling has helped me through so many dark times, so it's a daily practice out of necessity. Thank you for all your wonderful ideas, and many times your meditations have made it to my daily gratitude list ❤️

New journal bought today to restart the act of journaling. Did this a few years ago and it really helped with mind clarity. I stopped as it began to feel like another thing to do on the list but recently been feeling alot of tension, overwhelm and stress thats all in my head. Hoping getting it out on paper will lead me to some mental peace and calm 😌
