I absolutely love how this potrays how Hornet is in both the protector battle and the sentinel battle. The line in the chorus "Shell within the void, you would seek the end" becoming "Shell within the void, you would *face* the end" in the sentinel section is a perfect example of how Hornet sees the Knight in the two fights.

It's nice that the line "Pity for your cursed kind" was from her dream nail dialogue, which is "Only pity for your cursed kind!"

Love how Broken Vessel’s song had the line “Shell within the void / Know this is the end / Broken and discarded / Ashes that descend”
Meanwhile this one has “Shell within the void / You would seek the end / Who would claim the hollow / Let the light extend” and “Shell within the void / You would face the end / Claim the mark of kings / If kingdoms you’d defend”
Is the line about shell within the void going to become a repeat appearance in Hollow Knight songs? I sure hope so because it’s really cool to see how each person addresses Ghost and the consistent “-end” words at the end of each line is a very fun theme.

Edit: With the release of the Mantis Lords song breaking this pattern, it does appear that I’m wrong. Maybe it’s just the bosses relevant to the main story, in that case.
