Honestly, I’m so glad Dung Defender is one of the friendly Npc’s who don’t die.

I will say I genuinely love the Dung Defender. Like, when I first played Hallow Knight I thought he was a joke boss as he was literally defending a room of poop. But then I remembered that bugs actually need that stuff for nurishment and even making homes for defending against the elements, so he then became this Defender of everyone. As he was protecting what was considered a valuable resource to the kingdom. Especially since he hadn't left his post for so long and saw the decay of the kingdom he loved so much, he remained loyal to the king and the other knights, and meeting you was probably a breath of fresh air and a lovely little fight to keep him going. Now, even more motivated.

This was honestly one of my favorite fights in the game. Not only does it seem like Ogrimm is having fun with the fight (which is emphasized even more in this song), but it’s also pretty fun to parry his attacks while he’s bouncing around. It’s almost like hitting a beach ball.
