This is absolutely beautiful and I love how it shows how Dirtmouth through the entire game will always be a safe spot. Even if the Grimm Troupe invades, they leave you be unless you go to them. If Zote arrives he doesn’t bother you. No matter who arrives it’s always a safe spot to go back to with more friends along the journey joining you. Excellent job as always portraying this

I had a friend who really enjoyed Hollow Knight. He had to go to the hospital due to complications with his heart. When this had first posted, I thought he was still with us. Wanted to show this to him when he got better. Then a couple hours ago I found out he passed away. I think this will keep the memory of him for me. Thank you for making this MotI. Its really beautiful.

My personal theory about the song is that it is singing about how the Void was here far before the Radiance and will be there far after, and how the Knight has to resist it long enough to strike it down. I know this song has been out for a minute at the time of writing this but I like hollow knight GDI.

I love how "Look inside, you will find what lies within." is probably referencing the reason that ghost came to Hallownest. That calling from the Hollow Knight luring ghost into the well leading down into it's old, forgotten home.
