Simone Biles Says MyKayla Skinner BLOCKED Her After Gold Medal Clapback

Simone Biles is clapping back while bringing home the gold! After the U.S. women’s gymnastics team won gold at the Paris Olympics on July 30, the most decorated American gymnast in history took to Instagram to celebrate, posting a picture of the team with the caption, “Lack of talent, lazy, Olympic champions.” Simone’s caption appears to be a response to former 2020 Olympic vault silver medalist MyKayla Skinner, who caught heat last month after making comments in a now-deleted video where she said that, besides Simone, the “talent and depth” wasn’t what it used to be and claimed that the team’s work ethic was lacking. MyKayla has since apologized for her comments and reposted a photo of the USA women’s gymnastics team’s victory to her Instagram story alongside heart emojis. However, on Wednesday, Simone took to 'X' to hint that MyKayla has since blocked her on social media.

I don’t think any lazy person has ever qualified for the Olympics. 🤦‍♀️ 😂

In 1975, Sunisa Lee's parents were able to escape the massacre of the Hmong by the Pathet Lao Government. At that time, the Hmong often crossed the Mekong River at night. Thanks to the American Government who had welcomed her parents to the United States, Sunisa Lee was born to be a champion in America. Congratulations to Sunisa Lee.

Skinner's comments were completely inappropriate and uncalled for and Simone Biles had every right to clap back. Not only did Biles and the rest of the team work incredibly hard, they also did it while putting their own health (including their mental health) first, something that has never been a priority in women's gymnastics. Not only have they won gold, BUT they have made a positive change in the sport for thousands of young women, showing that you can succeed in gymnastics without condoning abusive tactics. That achievement alone is worth even more than a gold medal in my opinion, as it will lead to women being saved from abuse and other negative consequences.

Sunni Lee, who was diagnosed with a rare kidney disease and gained 45 pounds- who lost the weight, got up and trained, disease went into remission, retrained and 12 months later qualified for the Olympics and not just medaled, BUT A GOLD 🏅!! Wow, thats is not intense and thats lazy!! And not to mention, a 16 year who wins, a gold! 😢😂🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤

I definitely wouldn't call this Olympic team lazy. They performed skills at a level that's never been done before. Congrats to these Olympic gold medalists! Well deserved.🇺🇸⭐🥇

Now I see why Simone was having issues with her mental health.
The jealousy is real, she gaslit Simone, she should be quiet, so envious.
Very distasteful.

Remember: Skinner retweeted an attack on Gabby Douglas that had several monkey emojis--leaving no room for interpretation--when Gabby made the Olympic team over her.

Jealousy is an ugly emotion and skinner bathes in it.

Love how MyKayla blamed Marta for her comments. She has to take responsibility for her own comments. Get some therapy for the trauma she faced so that she will not verbally and emotionally abuse others while they're trying to accomplish their goals. She did the same to Gabby Douglas when she made the team over her in 2016. She's been bitter about other women's success. Time to own up to it and heal...

Oh, that's perfect, mckayla. The work ethic of being starved for food and water, of working so hard you skip your period until your 20s, of putting up with abuse by adults. Sound great mckayla!

Simone didn’t need to clap. She wasn’t included in those comments but she took charge. Thats leadership, in vicious fashion. She came a long way since the Tokyo crash out. What a legend🇺🇸🇺🇸

I knew there was a dark attitude about her when they were together. She just exposed herself what was in her heart for a long time. Don't listen to the naysayers Simone. It comes especially when a black person excels. It is God -- with your hard work that brought you this way. The Scripture says, "your gift will make room for you and bring you before great men."

Good on McKayla Maroney for distancing herself from looser Skinner. "Will the REAL McKayla please stand up!"

There are several reasons why athletes are selected for the United States gymnastics team. One of them comes down to personality. They want you to be a team player. It’s obvious from Skinners’s ‘s comments that is not what she is. People might criticize Simone for defending herself and her team, but that’s the attitude that we want for our team! That’s the winning attitude. Moreover, having the right attitude takes work, and apparently Skinner was too lazy to put in that work.
