The thing about it, is that, You MyKayla could have been more physically fit or had better this or that, yet while the other people who got the position, were humble and plyable and appreciative and had a caring heart, a fervent desire to see others do well. That's exactly it. I did gymnastics back in the 80s. There were like 5 of us brown girls at our gym, plus a hundred white girls. And we were not treated great. This was during the Mary Lou Retton era who visited my gym. Nowadays these girls have gymnastics role models who look like them.
