The amount of times I’ve seen people assert that cats are pets that you can set and forget is astounding. Feeding is not the only requirement when caring for a cat. They need play and exercise just like any dog would.

My cat and i would play hide and seek all the time. She loved it especially if i hopped out at her. Her back would arch like i scared her but then she would start hopping around then zoom out of the room so i could hide again. She would look around the door then come creeping in like she was the one who was going to scare me and she did sometimes.😊 Miss her.😢❤❤

There are more wands and feathers in this house than a dominatrix's dungeon! I take playing very seriously, in that it's a priority because I got him as a tiny kitten and giving him playtime is more than a treat, it's imperative to a his development.

Hide and seek is a game that Maggie and I have played for years. She hides and I seek and then vise versa. Finger and paw are two others. She's 16 years young and we work for her.. She is a treasure. We said that we "rescued " her baloney! She rescued us! She will look in her toy basket and occasionally bring over a toy to play with but usually it's a paw tap on the leg and away we go! So PLAY with your kitty! It's fun!! Listen to Jackson!!!! He's so right.

I have 2 Siamese cats that I play with individually and together each and every day, one I adopted from a Shelter at 8 mths and she was extremely depressed and withdrawn because she didn't behave like the people who had her for a week or two and she had been in 4 families before I found her- she is now 7 years old, I had adopted another Siamese baby for her to have someone other than me to be a companion and they are - that baby is 6 years old now and they enjoy me not only playing with their toys but also daily brushing's and I have a large yard and always have them interact with whatever I'm doing outside as I want them to be happy, and they are.
