Hands down one of the simplest, most useful, and different cooking channels I've come across and easily my favorite. Learned tons so far and I'm excited to see what I learn from you next!

What can I say? I been looking around the internet for a long time. My father and both my brothers are cooks. It's in our family's blood. My older brother owned 2 restaurants and honestly... I feel so close to your way of doing things. Because cooking is intensely and intimately related to who you are, i appreciate the way you respect and behave with food

There's a link between you and something almost sacred. A kind of beauty that resides deep in every person and that manifests when, and it's rare, one manages to communicate emotions through a medium that is not supposed to. You breath soul into your food. Not your recipes. Your food. The way it's brought to life reveals a lot on a chef and I feel so close to the philosophy of cooking you display... Of cours I will keep on following. Can't wait.

Thank you Joshua and see you on your next video.

I never comment on YT videos, but had to do in this one.

Thanks for your final message, man.

I don't know how to even boil a fucking egg. But you made me go to the kitchen and try stuff.

Thanks again.

Thanks so much for this, seriously. I really, really needed it. I’ve recently had so much trouble with my appetite that I struggle to eat even my favourite foods.

Because of this I looked up tips on stimulating and increasing appetite, and a lot of them are actually mentioned in this video. Pretty colours and textures, big and uncrowded plates, not simply chucking everything in a bowl and mixing it up... all tricks for getting people interested in their food.

Proper nutrition is a key component of physical and mental health. It’s *so* important, and I have been trying to cook more so I can eat (and feel) better.

A few weeks ago (I’m Canadian, sorry) I cooked Thanksgiving dinner for my family. It actually really discouraged me, because while everyone was raving about how delicious everything tasted, to me it was inedible. After all those hours of work, I ended up eating a couple of tablespoons of stuffing, and going home to cry.

But I realize now that making food is not the same as serving food. I sat staring at a dozen different dishes on the table, and never actually made myself a plate.

All this to say that I’ve been gearing up to try again at cooking myself some nutritious food, and this is exactly the encouragement I needed. Again, I really can’t thank you enough.

Edit: all my tweezers are medical tweezers...

I've got no sunlight for growing herbs outdoors, and my bratty cats will tear apart any plant within reach, so for me garnishing has always required deliberate forethought. But recently I finally installed some LED grow lights in a cabinet, put terra cotta pots in a waterproof $1 container from Target, and bingo bango, I've got fresh herbs on demand.

It's all about love ! The love of flavor, the love of the ingrédients and those who grew them, the love of doing things yourself, and the love of those you cook for.

Big love from Southern France, keep up the good work 😘papa love you 😋

Man, I've been watching for a while, and this outro really got me... Our ability to cook is something we all share with each other - regardless of nationality, culture, or identity - and we should all cherish and use it to the fullest extent. Thank you for inspiring people to be their best selves! Keep up the amazing work!

Food is life - most of our memories involve food. Christmas Eve dinner, Sunday dinner at grandma's, Independence Day BBQ with my cousins - all great memories - all centered on a meal. Love your video's - keep it up!
