My favourite pieces of 10th Doctor trivia are:

1) In The End of Time Part II when they are taking him down the stairs in the chair, he really was in pain because he had recently had surgery and his back was sore. I'm not happy he was in pain, just it's interesting that he's not acting at all in that scene. What a trooper.

2) He and John Barrowman choose to wear those long coats that they called their "Superhero coats" because when they ran, the back of them flapped like capes and in "Utopia" when they're running from the Future Kind they're actually racing each other for real.

Great vid as always you wonderful lads and lasses. 😉

David Tennant is my Doctor. Excited to see him return this year but not looking forward to having to say goodbye to him again

Speaking of catch phrases. Would you like a jellybaby? Now that's a catch phrase.

God I love ten. He’s basically David Tennant captured his inner fan boy 😂

I definitely knew the accent one. Interestingly, it shows how clever Moffat was too, because Amy Pond is the last voice the 11th Doctor hears, and who is the next Doctor after that? Scotland’s Peter Capaldi! (Also the last ‘companion’ accent the War Doctor hears are the Northern tones of Clara, and the next Doctor after him was… Northern!). Also knew the viewing figures one.

I liked the line Tennant gave at an interview before starting. When asked if he would use his Scottish accent, he said “Chris Eccleston said lots of planets have a north, but EVERY planet has a Scotland!”

Pretty sure Matt Smith did the impossibly deep pockets trick, too - as I recall, Rory pulled out a small flashlight, and Eleven hauled a HUGE MagLite from his inside pocket.

Kinda hoping that when 14 regenerates we get a line along of the lines of "I'm ready to go"

Here’s one: his brown suit was made from trousers. While shopping for looks, Tennant found the brown trousers with blue pinstripes and said that’s it. The costume designer said they couldn’t match the fabric for a blazer. So they wound up buying the entire stock from the store and managed to make five suits for Tennant and stunt men to wear. Making the blue suit in season three was advantageous because it allowed the brown ones to last longer. Tennant was gifted his suit when he was done and wore it for the 50th special.

An extra nod of appreciation for a top 10 list made up of 'new' nuggets of trivia - a lot of these I didn't know, and am grateful to you for unearthing.

Alex Kingston as River Song is one of my favourite characters because she's one of my favourite actresses I had watched before she was in Doctor Who.

Do you remember Genesis of the Daleks, when the Kaled soldiers wanted to search the Fourth Doctor's pockets, and he said " It might take some time..."

Great video and loving river's sonic ellie! 😂😊 In the series 3 episode Smith and Jones, david struggled to say the alien name Judoon (specifically the 'oon' bit) because it was hard for him to say it in his put on estuary english accent, being that he's actually Scottish. So to make it more difficult for him, russell t davies gave him the line "judoon platoon upon the moon", just for fun. But being the professional that he is david tennant pulled it off flawlessly! 😂 Also when they broke the time rotor in the tardis set whilst filming the tenth doctor's regeneration, they had to partially fix it ready to film the sarah jane adventures episode the wedding of sarah jane which was filmed after david tennant had left the show and filming for series 5 had already started. That's why you don't see the time rotor moving up and down in that episode of the sarah jane adventures. 😊😊

Another point about the suits: if the episode took place in the future (ie, after 2010 CE in Earth's calendar), he wore the solid blue suit. If it took place in our past, he wore the brown pinstripes. 😎

The 11th Doctor also had bigger on the inside pockets when he got out the massive uv light bar thing in Vampires of Venice

"Platoon of Judoon on the Moon" was a line written to test his ability to stay with an English accent and not slip back into his natural Scottish one!

4:54 Ellie: "Bigger on the inside" is one of the most famous quotes of the entire show ...
Editor : shows Clara's "Smaller on the outside" scene

I know it's not what we're getting, but it would be awesome if 14 got Tennant's natural accent (for Capaldi), Smith's style, and Whitaker's personality so he's something of a bookend for an era

I knew all these things about the 10th doctor, but i didn't know the 13th doctor's catchphrase was 'brilliant' shows how much of an impact jodie/chibnall era left on me haha

Imagine if 9 was around for that scene where 10 snaps at 11... Oh man, 9 could get really aggressive too. Ahaha.
