while this is true for countries like India and generally countries with largely tropical climates leafy greens are totally safe to eat in Central Europe for instance. But that’s also why doctors recommend to only eat cooked food when travelling to the region around the equator.

That makes absolutely sense... Most countries that eat lots of raw salad are cold.. In tropical countries raw salads are not common. As per Ayurveda we should also eat only small amount of raw food due to its cooling effect, which can be hard to digest for many people.

That's in India. She should qualify the scope of her statement and not just generalise.

Tapeworm and Ecoli infections are common when eating contaminated MEAT. Did you ask if they are non vegetarians? If they are, there is a higher chance they got the parasites from improperly cooked meat rather than from a Salad

People saying that she's wrong, should watch till end. She said we should boil or steam the raw vegetables, if u think logically that makes sense.

All of Europe would be dead by this logic, given the amount of raw salad they consume. Who is this lady claiming to be a doctor???? 😂😂😂

I heard from someone that in the indian village. The children were given 2 tsp of castor oil weekly to remove these worms and also good for constipation 😊

⚠️ Avoid leafy vegetables during monsoon because that whole season worms are inside them. When choosing look for a sturdy, tight and it should be heavy for it's size, those are the vegetables that worms avoid going into. And avoid eating them raw as much as possible, atleast blanch them for a few minutes. Remember tapeworms can be small but they can grow upto a meter inside you and there have been instances when they drew large

Lol you could just wash your food?
I have been eating those things for years, but then again i live in the netherlands and our food is highly regulated. (pesticides and such are often illegal)
And my parents had their own garden where we ate the veggies from. Never got sick from them EVER. just wash your food.

Some people drown in the water. Therefore swimming laps is unhealthy behavior!

I don’t know if it works or not, but I started soaking in hot water with vinegar or apple cider vinegar when I get home. These types of diseases aren’t even address in standard US western heath care… they just find a symptom they can prescribe medication for or give you antibiotic 😢
Gotta be your own doctor or find good ones…

Eventually I've started eating just like my grandparents did. They are in their late 80s and still a lot more active and healthier than me at 34 💀

She is so right. I have raw salads but now blanch leaves and cabbage. Got Salmonella infection many times. We don't even know when we get E coli and just attribute to upset stomach and occasional diarrhea. Even street food vendors are carriers for the infection. Even coriander and mint and eggs should be washed and rewashed thoroughly
