Training with supersets is an underutilized tool when it comes to building muscle. A superset basically refers to performing 2 exercises back-to-back.

So if you have a bicep curl and a tricep pushdown, instead of performing 3 straight sets of each exercise. You can also aim to pair the 2 exercises by doing a bicep curl and directly heading into a tricep pushdown with minimal rest in between.

Using supersets the right way has benefits for muscle growth and training efficiency. So in this video, I will show you how to utilize supersets in your training.

The last study you mentioned says they used 3 exercises: squats, rows AND bench press. One more exercise changes everything. Besides, the results were 7.5+-2.2 vs 6.5+-2.2 in reps to failure on the fourth set. The difference seems minimal.

Great video 👍🏻. I have one question please . What do you think about this supersets. Bench Press then 1min rest then Pullups then 1min rest then Bench Press again and so forth.

What do you think about squeezing in sets of calves, shoulder flys, or other noncompeting isolation lifts between sets of compound legs?

So the weider training principles such as tri sets ...group supersets, giant sets, and numerous champions over the decades, have it all wrong? And some inconsistent study done on none competitive lifters where you cannot measure each intensity output..are the ones to listen too!?
