The best METAL DETECTOR search coil

preview_player
Показать описание
XP metal detectors have a wide range of search coils available, supplied with your new metal detector or as an optional extra. In this video our metal detecting expert Gary Blackwell talks about coil options and what advantages each of them offer.
Gary talks about the XP coild having "specialist frequencies" the X35 coil has a specialist frequency of 4Khz, the HF round 50Khz and the HF Elliptical 80Khz.
Turn your XP Deus or ORX into a deep monster with the big X35 coil, or use the Elliptical high frequency coil to go out into the Goldfields to find the biggest Gold Nugget you have ever seen. #Deepestdetector #goldhunting

Great run down on the coil range Gary and very informative. I was thinking last year of adding the white 9" HF coil to compliment my 11" normal black coil (which had served me well). I was invited to the Regton stand (next to you at the XP display stand) at Detectival last year and we chatted on the subject of HF coils. Nigel at Regton agreed with the reasoning of getting the 9" HF for the small hammered targets and as you and Nigel give the thumbs up, that was good enough for me. I can confirm that my finds rates on small hammered coins has indeed increased, especially the tiny cut halves and quarters as well as other very small artefact targets and small roman coins. The 9" white coil is actually my main coil of choice now. Cheers.Keith

Was that a cheetah chasing an antelope at 5:30? Very funny. Made me rewind a few times.

I bought the ORX with the 9 inch round HF. I never wanted another coil. This thing absolutely rocks! It finds deep targets, small targets, and can even go to the "low" 13.3kHz. I am truly amazed by the power and flexibility of the ORX. No matter the ground, no matter the target, you'll find it. I've never found gold, but I haven't had this for long. I don't even really care, because it's such a joy to use this machine. I feel like it could do anything!

Really enjoy these videos. They are the Gold Standard for anyone wanting to learn a Deus or ORX. Cheers Jon.

Very informative. There is nothing like XP coils! I recently got the HF and I’m amazed how I can hear tiny pieces of gold with the threshold turned up, and the same coil can be used to find coins. I’m really looking forward to using this in the California goldfields this fall.

Brilliant Gary, thanks for the video..
I've the 9" hf and regretted not getting the 11"x35.. but your right they have their own positives.. 👍
And its the little silvers on edge that are missed by the others I'm picking up so happy deus..

I have the 13", 11" and HF round. Perfect for Roman sites and medieval pasture fields. Interesting video as always 👍

Good video Gary.
I still think the best allround coil for almost any machine is 11 inch . But the best in trash on the Deus/ORX is the 9 inch white .
I think if XP came out with a larger elliptical at 12 x 10 inch it would take on the Minelab's more in the Gold fields .
Maybe it would be a bit awkward in trash having high freq or used in high freq but for the small Gold nuggets it would be deeper i am sure. When i watch Aussie Gold Hunters and they are using the Minelab P.I. machines, a lot of the time they are pulling out nuggets that are around the weight of a standard Gold ring and at no more than 6 to 8 inches . I am sure that the Deus and ORX could match at least that with a larger coil with high freq and pull out the 1 gram nuggets at depth too.
A bigger white HF coil would give better coverage too.

Another brilliant video by Gary. This answers my questions about which coil does what. Off to buy a 9" HF coil to complement by big coil. Thanks Gary.

Thanks Gary, this video has made things much clearer.
I may even switch from using my goto 13" coil more often :)

Good video Gary, very clear and helpful. I sent it to my friend who can't make up his mind which coil is 'better '. For myself, I'll be trying the higher frequency on my 11 inch X35 coil in future (when we're allowed out again). I might even have a look at the tiny coil for better separation of targets.

Great video Gary. I’m not sure I agree re the big coil having difficulty finding small targets - I’ve found more tiny hammered coins with the x35 13” than I did with my standard 11” since buying. You have convinced me to dust down my round HF coil though and revisit my favourite site at 50khz! Keep em coming!
