Jon - Swear it.
Sansa - I swear.
...
Tyrion - Hey girl, how are you?
Sansa - Guuurrrlll, remember my brother Jon??? Yup, Targaryen.

I like how we never got to see ANYBODY react to them knowing Jon is Targaryen. They just cut those parts away. Truly magnificent fucking writing.

Every time they are about to tell Jon’s secret, the scene ends and we don’t see their initial reaction

Sansa is smart. She knows telling Tyrion about Jon will be the downfall of Daenerys. She learned so much from Littlefinger.

2:59 Littlefinger smirks from hell and says " Tell him, Sansa "

Proof that Sansa deceived everyone by playing the Game of Thrones

I love how in season 8, we never actually see any of the big reveal moments like this - they just cut away because they didn't know how to write the dialogue. Got an important plot point to cover? CUT TO A NEW SCENE!

Sophie Turner doesn't get much credit for her acting skills, I think she was definitely one of the best on the show.

OK, so as someone who likes Sansa this is my take on this scene, firstly Sansa didn't seek Tyrion out to tell him this secret, he approached her. If he hadn't came to talk to her, I don't think Tyrion would have found out about it.

And then she didn't even tell him right away, I believe Sansa would have kept quiet about Jon. It was only after she realised Tyrion is scared of Daenerys, after all she's seen him stand up to Joffrey in front of a crowd, and his father and Cersei yet here he is scared of the person he's meant to be counselling.

Even then she seems to be deciding to tell Tyrion the truth, you can see in her face she's unsure what to do, and only then doesshe. It wasn't her manipulating like Littlefinger but safety and fear for her family that made her feel no choice but to share this information. That's how I see this scene playing out.

This scene to me showed that Sansa truly cared for Jon and was truly scared of him going to Winterfell, I think more than who becomes the Queen she wanted Jon to stay in Winterfell and be safe.

I swear, the worst kept but most important secret gets leaked and they don't even show the reaction of these people when they hear the secret?!

This scene is so powerful… Sansa truly cares about Jon and is so scared about him going South. She cannot possibly lose him, not after what all they’ve been through. She’s genuinely scared and wants him North, ruling the North, or at least there in Winterfel as Warden of the North. And even that is already firmly denied. Or Jon’s choice, for that matter, Jon being the one to choose where he should prefer to be - in Kings Landing or in the North, where he always dreamt of being. He is to stay by his Queen’s side and Sansa can’t stand it. Even, if not for Jon, then for herself, because she cannot bear to part with him. She’s traumatised about the South, knows Jon will not survive the court if he was already KILLED by his own men in the North.
She’s also the smartest girl there is and knows there is no other way to save - if not Westeros - then Jon from what is to come. There is no other way and she sure knows Tyrion is not someone to spread the news around, if he’s so loyal to his Queen. She makes a difficult decision to break her promise to Jon (she did say, how is she to swear not to tell, if she doesn’t know what is it about) to SAVE Jon. She’s Ned Stark’s daughter indeed. She does it to protect. She chooses Jon to hate her, but be alive to actually do it.

She a wolf protecting her pack.

I’m petty sure there’s a difference between ruling with fear and ruling with respect.

I wish I could actually see the scenes when people find out Jon secret. Sansa, Arya, Varys, Tyrion… I would like to see their first reaction, before they processed this information. And other people in the kingdom. We only saw Dany, Sam and Bran(and he has no emotions).

Tyrion: She wants to make the world a better place.
*Cuts to next episode where she is burning Kings Landing*
WELP... OKAY!

*Still can’t even find a scene where, after learning the truth of Jon’s true parents+him being their cousin, that Sansa+Arya actually mention or talk about it w him! Did it even happen?? HELP!!*

And damn— why on earth did they never let us see Jon telling the girls the truth. And even w Tyrion it’s the same. All OFF camera! It’s ridiculous. It would’ve been such a huge and emotional (and cathartic) moment for them & the audience as well.

Much about the last Starks as adults either echoes or mirrors the philosophy Ned represented. Jon for the most part embodies Ned's unshakeable honor, and perhaps answers the question of whether Ned was right to judge Jaime for stabbing the king in the back to save the kingdom - Jon ultimately falls on Jaime's side of that argument when faced with his own version. Sansa and Arya together comprise both 'sentencer' and 'sword' when it comes to Littlefinger, sticking to Ned's edict albeit as a pair.
And I find this scene and Sansa's choice a kind of parallel to Ned discovering the truth of Joffrey's parentage and dooming himself by warning Cersei. Sansa could have chosen to keep Jon's secret and preserve her honor, but she sees Dany's ascension to the throne as deeply dangerous and decides to break her oath in order to put Jon forth as a better alternative. Not strictly the most 'honorable' choice, but maybe the best one anyway. At a certain point upholding your personal honor at the expense of the greater good is selfish.
