Guys this is a FAKE FIGHT to take out little finger and trick him. These girls love one another and understand it’s starks above all else and understand what happened to both of them was horrible and not their faults… and they are fake fighting cuz little finger is listening and little finger turned their mom and her sister against eachother. I think people misunderstand the difference between physical pain and mental pain a lot.

Arya experienced traumatizing events in form of mainly physical harm, while Sansa was manipulated and experienced heavy mental harm. You can't say one or the other would have not survived what the other experienced, since they experienced different kind of harm. They both thrived individually in the show, even with the messed up writing.

I think a lot of people forget that Arya had someone there to turn her away from the sight of her father's beheading, to shield her eyes and not let her see a moment of it.

While Sansa had no one to protect her. She was forced to watch her father be executed mere feet away from her and was then made to look at her father's severed head. The Hound and Tyrion tried their best to protect her, but she never experienced a true moment of peace.

Both girls went through terrible things, things the other likely wouldn't have survived. But, I think Arya still had the better experience. She had moments of peace and laughter and camaraderie and made friends and made decisions for herself and traveled and trained. You can probably count on one hand the number of times Sansa ever managed to SMILE again before she was reunited with Jon. She had Margaery and Tyrion (and the Hound, in a way), briefly, but that was about it in terms of friends. And, even then, she was still always in danger and always a pawn.
