If you're serious about getting a Mustang, get 5.0. Get it tuned by lund if you plan on modifying. And a twin disk clutch. The Mt-82 isn't the problem. It's the stock clutch. 11~17 are the years to get.

C5 Corvette f body Camaro are good value for your money and they're not too expensive to fix and the parts are easy to come by

It's factory rated 390 to the crank, most made 380-390 to the wheels though.

If you are a new driver, no, because that car is a iorn block V8 and it is table up to 800hp with mods, and it is really hard to control with the 6 speed, and plus don't say it is old please, my car is a 2004 roush mustang and mine is a solid torch red and it is 21 years old.
