CleanMyMac - "Memory almost full". It's talking about your physical RAM, not SSD availability *and* you're only running 8GB on that M2 MBA so not surprising really.

Great take on the Air M2. Funny enough, I am watching the after I have already both one, just got it last week (16gb, 512gb). Coming from 30 years of using Microsoft/Windows, and I am absolutely amazed! Yes, still have to get used to slight differences, such as Cmd instead of Ctrl, but overall the experience has been astonishing. While my previous laptop was great, and probably a unit that was about as close to a MacBook that a Windows laptop could get, the Air M2 is miles ahead of anything on the Windows side. Ridiculous battery life, blazingly fast, just a wonderful user experience.

Great video David - I am considering buying the m2 air as well - but one thing is puzzling me: how do we get a consistent workflow across multiple macs? I am still on the free version of iCloud so, not sure how the “main” and “secondary” machines are going to sync, and do they need to sync really? 🤔 ideally you’d like to pick up projects on one where you left them on the other… how is that feasible, in practice? Especially with the grab and go kinda style of the M2 air…

You want to get at least 512 GB of storage if for no other reason to get the faster speeds of having 2 SSDs inside. If you just get the 256, you won't get the SSD speed of the M1 Air

I was deciding between the M2 Air and the 14” M1 Pro and decided to get the 14” as it’s a better machine and the price difference wasn’t that huge. Personally, If I was looking for an Air; I think I’d go for the M1 as I think it provides better value for money. Also, I’d be looking to save a little money by buying an Apple refurbished one.
