How to play Super Famicom games on Super Nintendo

Did you know you can play Super Famicom games on your Super Nintendo in under 5 minutes of modification? After all these years I only JUST learned this and wanted to share with anyone else who hasn't been enlightened. All you need is a needle-nose pliers and some passion for video games.

You don’t have to ruin your SNES for that. You can actually open the game and exchange the board from a Japanese shell to an American shell and viceversa. So yes you can play SNES games on a SFAMICOM that way too.

I saved a lot of money by doing this when I first found this out. Now playing JP titles is easy and saves you from buying the Famicom which can be very expensive. For the original NES you need a Famicom converter which is found in a game called Gyro mite. It works on both Classic nes and nes 101 top loader.

I never knew this trick. Now I can finally play that Godzilla Kaijuu Daikessen game on SNES without buying a Super Famicom

I know this method is free and it's quick, but you don't have to permenantly damage you're console and ruin it's resale value to play super famicom games you can just move remove the board from the famicom cartridge and put it in a super nintendo shell. You can also just buy a cheap adaptor for like $20 bucks and you don't have to open or remove anything.
