It's finally here! 😊 Great to see the SNES get some love on the channel. My personal favorite is Yoshi's Island!

You guys get major cred for showcasing Biker Mice from Mars. I remember when my friend got it for Christmas one year - he was disappointed at first, but then we started playing it and got HOOKED. Seriously underrated title!

This was my OG collection-- November 1992 through August 1996-- in rough order of when I got them. I went to a boarding school from 1994 to 1996 where I couldn't bring my SNES so I missed out on a lot of the great games released in the latter half of 1994 on through summer of 1996. The last three listed here I picked up heavily discounted from Toys R Us in July/August 1996.
I'd recommend all of these.
(I sold off console and games that August 1996 in order to get a N64. A year later I had buyer's remorse and bought a SNES/Super Gameboy combo from Wal-mart and started my collection all over again).
1) Street Fighter II 2) Super Mario Kart 3) Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past 4) ActRaiser 5) Super Star Wars 6) Star Fox 7) Cybernator 8) Batman Returns 9) Street Fighter II Turbo 10) Super Bomberman w/ Multitap 11) Secret of Mana 12) Super Empire Strikes Back 13) ActRaiser 2 14) Super Ghouls N Ghosts 15) Mega Man X 16) NBA Jam 17) Super Metroid 18) Killer Instinct 19) Doom (just for it being a red cartridge!) 20) Illusion of Gaia

This channel nourishes my soul. Awesome buying guide, as always! I remember all the magical hours poured into the SNES library when I was younger. An amazing system. Great video and always fun to see you and John Hancock together.

I’m glad you added actraiser in there! That game is an instant classic, beautiful graphics, addictive gameplay, excellent music... Only other game I would add is earthbound, been playing it on the SNES mini and it’s great.

Great video!

I have to mention Final Fantasy IV (released in NA as Final Fantasy II). It's common for people to automatically think of Final Fantasy III (aka VI) and Crono Trigger as the great pillars of Square's SNES output (which they are), but IV is an absolutely amazing game as well. It was the first RPG I ever played that had a story and characters that REALLY mattered.

Great Video! I remember playing the SNES M-16 rifle game at US Army Basic Training at Fort Leonard Wood in 1998! I also have to mention Mortal Kombat 2 as one of my must-haves for SNES. Great graphics, great port from arcade version, fatalities, & friendships! Finish Him! So many great memories of playing MK2 with my little brother & next door neighbor!
