Hi just wanted to ask. I have a Windows 2016 server and the ESXI it's residing is on hardware version 6.7. Can I manually upgrade the tools to version 12.0.1 since from vsphere client i can see the server is running on VMware tools version 11.1.0 and i need 12.0.1?

Or will that cause any problems?
