Creating a Network shortcut on to the desktop to access your Synology can be improved. . I found that once you go into the network list of devices and locate you Nas, if you right click on your Nas and create a "shortcut" and place the shortcut on the desktop.

When I go to network and click on my NAS device, it takes me to the Synology webpage where I have to login. How come it is doing that? I followed your instructions in your video, but yours opens up the network folders on explorer and mine goes to a browser synology window to login. How do I change that?
