I have a coworker who is deaf, and aside from occasionally signing, "You good?" or "OK" I really couldn't communicate with him. Yesterday, after practicing with your 125 Signs from ASL Pt.1, I saw him, and said, "Hi, How are you? Pleased to meet you!" He got the biggest smile on his face! I look forward to learning more so we can truly become friends.

I work in fast food, and we get deaf people often and your videos have helped me a lot with being able to communicate with them and give them the best customer service. I feel as if ASL should be taught in school. There’s so many deaf people that have to adapt to a hearing world. To me, I don’t think that’s fair. I think the least the hearing person can do is learn a little bit of sign language so they can communicate with those who live that life being accustomed to us instead of the other way around

Im working as a waitress. There's a mute couple customer will come at every Saturday night.Usually they will ask for a pencil and paper to write their menu. When I do sign language fluently (thank god)she's crying and hug me because I'm willing to learn for both of them.I'm holding my tears so bad until i got into the kitchen.God Bless Both of Them

Hello Meredith, Some signs can be difficult to see in videos, depending on the angle that the videos were created in. I appreciate that you explain how signs are made because it helps to clarify things. Be well.

I work in the cafeteria in an local elementary school and a few of our special needs students are deaf or mute, so I’m hoping that by learning their way of communicating that I will bring a smile to their day.

I’ve always wanted to learn ASL simply because I want to and I just never realized how many people don’t have the gift of hearing like we do. I know how it feels to not be able to do things that almost everybody else can, so that’s why I want to learn ASL. I want to help everyone and anyone. Thank you so much for blessing me with this opportunity!

I've started randomly becoming non-verbal at times and having to be forced to speak but today marks the time where i take 30 minutes to an hour to learn asl just so I can communicate how im feeling instead of talking.

I LOVE your teaching technique. What I need to know is how do I sign with one hand. I have the other one I just can't move it due to paralysis. Thank you so much!

I love your videos! You have helped me better "speak" to my daughter, even though she is 3; she has picked up ASL and signs back to me as well.

I'm in security and I've encountered two deaf patrons who needed my help. But all I could do was use texts, and it was embarrassing for me not being able to help properly.
So, I'm hoping that learning ASL not only help me work wise, but also get a better job opportunity in the future.

I work in the HVAC industry and I’ve been wanting to learn ASL so that I can accommodate anyone who may be deaf. I used to sign as a little kid but I’ve forgotten over the years. Thank you for making it so easy to understand. I can’t wait to use.

Great work, Meredith!

Signers, I hope that you are doing well with the deaf people out there. Keep practice with your sign language. Don’t forget to use your face expressions. Have fun! 😊
