So who is Spartan-85? I'll start in the beginning. My earliest memories of playing video games was going with my grandma and my uncle (who had down syndrome) to the grocery store. In the back, they had a small arcade where my uncle and I would play games while my grandma shopped. We had so much fun playing games like Double Dragon,, Final Fight, Streets of Rage, Mortal Kombat, Donkey Kong, Mario, Galaga and so many others!

I got my very first console ever in the early 90's, the Nintendo Entertainment System, or NES. I remember having to blow the dust out of the cartridges because I played them so much. My brother and I would play super mario brothers and dunk hunt for hours.

Fast forward through the ages, I have owned almost every console there is, the NES, Super NES, Sega Genesis, Sega CD, Nintendo 64, Sega Dreamcast, Playstation 1, Playstation 2, Playstation 3, Playstation 4, Xbox, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Xbox One S and the Nintendo Switch. Gaming to me is a way to forget the world and to hang out with my friends. Some of my fondest memories were playing online in Halo 2, where we had clans, huge clan wars, and just had an amazing time.

I really got started watching youtube videos of creators playing video games while working midnights as a police officer. It kept me awake and passed the time between calls and reports. My first big inspirations that planted the idea of starting my own channel were, Markiplier, Lord Minion777, Unspeakable, Ninja and Glock9. I really enjoyed Markiplier's style and how he played a very wide variety of games. I enjoyed Lord Minions multiplayer series and comedy.

The two biggest inspirations that got me hooked into 7 Days to DIe and wanting to start my own channel playing 7 Days to DIe were Neebs Gaming and Glock9. The actual game, 7 Days to Die is what I decided I wanted to focus on because I felt it was a mix of two of my all time favorite games, Fallout and Minecraft. I literally one day googled games similar to Fallout and Minecraft and 7 Days to Die came up. I started buying equipment on Ebay and Amazon and the rest is history!!

Things that I try to stay true about are always stay humble, treat everyone with respect, know where you started and how hard you have worked to get here, set an example, help others when they need it, be a blessing to others, and when you don't know what to do or what will happen, Smile!

I would like to see the channel morph into a wide variety gaming channel eventually, but 7 Days to Die still holds my heart. I still love making tutorials, and especially 7 Days to Die tutorials The next big game on my radar that I am super excited about is probably Starfied.

The spears, specifically, are NOT key to the trick. The NUMBER of items are the trick to get this to work. In order for the trader to buy one "stack" of one item every 3 days, you need a minimum of 6 items in the machine. Any items will work, but it either needs to be 6 different items, or items that do not stack with each other (other than the ONE stack you do want to sell). I personally use wood clubs since they only require wood to make and they do not stack, so I simply make 5 of them with left over wood after making stack(s) of Wood Doors, Wood Double Doors, Hatches, etc. As long as you have 6 items in the machine, the trader will buy one of the default priced items (and will not buy the overpriced random items) every 3 days. As for what to sell, you want to put in a.) Items that Stack (since the trader will only buy 1 stack per 3 days, and items that stack means more total money), and b.) Items that sell for lots of money (per stack). Bicycle Handlebars, Minibike Handlebars, etc also are decent options, but like the video shows Wooded Door and Hatches are optimal since they stack to 500 units, do not require any skills to craft them ASAP, and only require 10 wood to craft.

This does still work, but initially I did not think it did. I used the same vending machine as the video used, and I did the exact same setup as the video described (except I sold 250 doors initially). I put the doors in first, then the 5 level one stone spears, and raised the spears one 20% click each. I waited 4 in game days due to being in the middle of a mission, and when I checked the vendor nothing had sold. I decided to lower the wooden door price one 20% click and exited the vending machine, but immediately opened it back up to make sure the price changed like I selected. To my surprise when I opened the machine the doors were now gone and I had 90k dukes sitting there. I'm going to attempt to do it again and I'll let y'all know the results.

There’s no need to wait the five days doing this. Once you put everything in the vending machine. Open an close it really really fast and the doors sell instantly. Your welcome

Thank you it still works doing it now, have about 2 mill Dukes. I have about 9 stacks of 50 Doors still just selling when days go and come. Thanks again

Just did it right now. Still works and has not been patched. I think it has to be exactly 3 days because I just checked and it did not work, but then I checked 2 minutes later and it worked. On PS5 btw, 18th of August.

I pelleve I've discovered a method where you can just repeatedly earn 125k Dukes constantly without needing to wait an additional 3 days each time. Here's how it works:
1. Wait the initial 3 days to get your first 120k+
Dukes.
2. Once you receive the 120k+, Exit and then re-enter and remove the spears and then exit the machine again.
3. Re-enter the machine and add the next 500 doors, then re-add the spears with the inflated price.
4. Exit and re-enter the machine one more time.
When you go back in, the doors will be gone again, and you'll have another 120k+ Dukes waiting for you. I used this method and managed to accumulate over 1 million Dukes in a sinale

I expect the Fun Pimps will eventually address this exploit and nerf it to some intolerable degree. They don't like it when you can bypass their trap rooms for loot, or trivialize horde night with clever base designs. Surely this Duke windfall will trigger them and a nerf patch will follow.

Got my Dukes from this yesterday. I did it wrong first so it took longer to get it took about 7 days to get because messing up on it but 3 days with fixing it. Thank you so much for this video. Helps alot.

I have done this twice now. Each time I had to lower the price of the doors by 1 ratio. Not a big deal. Still walked away with 100k in coins. Thanks for the tip!

Xbox here i just tried the glitch 9-2-24 and it does work! one thing tho is for me i didn’t have to wait the two days for the doors to sell, (i originally waited four days) i got the money from the original doors, then added more. i went to farm for 20 mins and went back and the doors i just put in there sold, so you may not have to wait “days” . It may not work for you right away for me i had to go and take a spear out on the 4th day and then put it back in, went back and instantly sold 😊

So I found a quicker way.. I waited in day, went back and checked the vending machine. Nothing. Immediately went back into the vending machine again and the doors were gone and duke's were there. I did this three times so far and its worked each time.

I'm convinced that the vending machines are an ongoing prank to the 7 days to die community.
Had a vending machine for literally 14 in game days. Nothing sold, I've never seen anything sell out of that thing.

Got 6k Rocks in there with a bunch of iron handle bars and some random weapons. Nothing sells.
