I've seen a lot of Base building videos, but the absolute Golden Nugget of a tip that you had was to not worry about digging too deep let the zombies dig it for you and then put the concrete in at your desired depth

Place something like a block of centered bars or something half way along the pole the zombies run on to reach thr fighting position. This forces them to jump and results in a higher percentage of zombies who will fall. Thus reducing the number of zombies who make it to the fighting position. Helping to reduce the damage those blocks take.

You could use scaffolding ladders in the roof instead of the frames. They'll stop the bird puke when you eventually get them.

Everytime I make this base I need like an hour to figure out the plate-pole-ramp changes on the poophole after the little mistake. This base is AMAZING, but I'd love you SO SO SO SO much if you could upload that part more clearly... I'm going crazy XD Anyway, this base is amazing, worked allt he way to endgame. Thank you!

i do the same kind of base for years.
what i would change in your design ist the tiny pole to a security gate centered, why, friendly fire is not damging the blocks!
What i do as well, i make the Zombies Jump, on the way over, first of all, they lose balance and fall sometimes!
The jumping part slows them down... more time to hit them!
ohhh one more ting, the pit needs to be always 14 blocks or deeper... so they don´t get in to rage mode!
but i like the idea of the 45° defleckting block... not a bad idea!

Would be cool to see this base improved with some traps and stuff currently experimenting on a second base I made of this to see if it messes with the pathing or not trying to incorporate blades turrets and fences

Entire base takes about 1100 building blocks of your choice. if your trying to gather for it.

Day 85 and I've been fighting the horde on the ground with a lot of bullets and a lot of coffee, I'm absolutely going to give this base a go, maybe even incorporate it into my home as it has a kind of guard tower/brutalist design to it. Thanks Bilegt.

Edit: It works great! I painted it to look like an old Cold War watch tower with lots of weathering and camouflage. I'll eventually cover the pyramid with a bunker design that can act as a kind of shell so that it fits the look and feel of the tower. I also built a tunnel down the core of the tower that leads to the garage of my home. I think the next plan will be to widen the tunnel down there and have it lead into a warehouse for storage along with some crafting rooms.

Thanks for the video!! I made this base with my brother and our first blood moon night we kept lighting ourselves on fire with the Molotovs after throwing them. Any tips?? Our aim should be fine - no idea what’s going on

Hello sir quick question if you mange to reply, would you recommend expanding it so i had two lengths for the zombies to run so its easier for multiple people to use and just expand yhe pit etc. (basicallly widening it for more figthing area) thanks

This video made me sub, great content. Could you mirror/dubble it to make it a two person base?

Made it, day 105 right now already done 4-5 blood moon in, added a lot of eletrical trap in the pit and plated 3 hight all around the tower.Had nearly no break just the block at the top of the stair but it still worked anyway, i plated it lmao. Made my base in the wall inside the pit it require a jump to get in (100% safe, no damage have been made to my shelter inside the wall of the pit) made it my main base im still adding thing to it. had a bug each blood moon were a spider was stuck somewhere and could be found, i think he was stuck in the wall maybe the plating made him bugged had to re load thr world

Is 5x5 the biggest you recommend to make the base? I play with friends and wanted some more room

got new into it and i am overwhelmed by the size and complexity of the game
i made myself a world to explore and get into the game before playing on harder difficulty
so rn i play with a 10day blood moon and 300% xp and still die all the time 😂😂

Hey great video! I used this design and I got the survive 10 blood moons challenge but i hope you can help me. Im playing with the long timer that makes days longer and bloodmoons longer, by 2:00 am my loot bags disappeared, its possible to put those cube forms for the birds on the floor of the hole to make the loot bags fall and grab them ? Or zombies cam pass through the cube forms?
